EQUIPMENT SALES

Rankin Biomedical serves the scientific industry by refurbishing laboratory equipment and recycling it back into the market. Our customer base is comprised of hospitals, universities, clinical and physician office laboratories, and veterinary hospitals.

REFURBISHING

Our equipment is refurbished by experienced in-house and affiliated biomedical technicians. Rankin Biomedical makes every effort to ensure that the equipment we offer is in good cosmetic, mechanical, and electrical condition. The equipment is fully inspected for wear and damage. It is disassembled and critical components are replaced or rebuilt as necessary. The equipment is reassembled, updated to current safety standards, function tested, cleaned, and cosmetically enhanced. Final refurbished products meet or exceed manufacturer's specifications.

WARRANTY

Rankin Biomedical warrants that the equipment shall be free from defects in material and/or workmanship, under normal use and service, for the period expiring ninety (90) days from the date of installation, provided the purchaser has completed and forwarded to Rankin Biomedical the Warranty Registration Card. Extended warranty periods are available.

Rankin Biomedical will, at its discretion repair or replace any unit covered under this warranty returned to Rankin Biomedical with shipping costs prepaid. Repaired or replaced instruments supplied under this warranty carry only the remaining portion of the original warranty and repairs shall not interrupt or prolong this warranty. A 20% restocking fee will be charged to items returned due to selection error or buyer's remorse.

No warranty extended by Rankin Biomedical shall apply to any instrument that has been damaged due to operator error, abuse, neglect, improper operation, incorrect repair by non-Rankin Biomedical personnel, or failure to perform normal operator maintenance of the instrument. Services performed or statements made by Rankin Biomedical shall in no case be construed as a guarantee of safe or effective equipment performance. Degradation of performance or development of hazards may occur in the course of normal use and operator competence is often a limiting factor in safety and performance.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

Rankin Biomedical shall not be liable for any loss of use, revenue or anticipated profits, or for any consequential or incidental damages resulting from the sale or use of the products. The purchaser shall be deemed liable for any and all claims, losses, or damages incurred by the use or misuse of the instrument by the purchaser, its employees or others, following receipt of the instrument or other items.

REPAIR and MAINTENANCE

Rankin Biomedical repairs certain equipment as depot repair (shipped-in) or provides on-site repair within Michigan's lower peninsula. Please call to inquire if your equipment is servicable by Rankin Biomedical.
