LKB 2128 Ultrotome IV Ultramicrotome. Complete system including main unit, control unit, microscope, knife holder, specimen holders, and operator manual. A combined automatic microtome and ultramicrotome for semi-thin resin sectioning as well as superior ultra-thin sectioning. It is capabale of cutting everything from micron sections of plastic or paraggin embedded blocks - semi-thin large area sections for light microscopy and ultra-thin large and small area sections. The controls are coupled to a speed-up system to allow for the fastest possible operation. It has a thermal feedback control for accurate section thickness and wider continuously variable feed ranges. It has a light system for better viewing facilities and rapid machine trimming. Power requirments: 180V, 50/60Hz. Control Unit dimensions: 32cm L x 46cm W x 15 cm H.
