Sakura Tissue-Tek Embedding System

Sakura Tissue-Tek IV Embedding System models 4709/4710. This system consists of an embedding console and a cryo console that features solid-state electronics and a modular uniplane design configured for left-to right or right-to-left workflow. The embedding console provides a single workstation for specimen orientation and paraffin embedding. A finger touch plate controls paraffin flow. The dispensing tower knob allows you to adjust the flow rate. The digital LED panel displays temperature in all heated/cooled areas. All temperature controlled areas are uniformly regulated; heated areas from 50 to 70 degrees C, forceps holder from 50 to 80 degrees C. Automatic on/off feature with manual override achieves operating temperature in just 20 minutes from a cold start. Left and right thermal storage chambers are individually temperature controlled and can be used as a paraffin bath. The cryo console provides a large refrigerated surface for the rapid cooling of paraffin blocks. The nylon work surface matches the embedding console height for optimal efficiency. It accomodates approximately 60 base molds/cassettes. The unit's quiet compressor reduces noise fatique. A constant digital display indicates cold plate temperature during operation. Plate cools to -5 degress C in approximately 20 minutes.
