INSTRUMENTATION:
The MIRAN 1A-CVF Laboratory Analyzer, a single-beam infrared spectrophotometer, was used to perform the analysis of deuterium oxide in water described here. The instrument used had a fixed wavelength of 4.0 um. The cell was a 0.2 mm calcium fluoride (CaF2) Precision Sealed Cell (P/N 006-7024) in a temperature-controlled cell mount (P/N 018-5322).
