| The Microdust pro is a hand held real time monitor for assessing the concentration of suspended particulate matter. It is probably the most versatile instrument currently available with a wide measurement range in a single instrument. Both conventional text and scrolling graphical displays are available of the concentration level from 1µgm-3 to 2500 mgm-3. A high range Microdust pro (1-25,000 mg/m3) also available. A full data logging facility of over 15,000 points is built in to the meter as a standard feature giving the benefit of time history recording during a measurement to see how the concentration levels changed. The unit can be calibrated for zero and span and retains excellent linearity throughout the measurement range. It can be run with conventional gravimetric sampling pumps and any correction factors necessary for comparison with the standard measurement method can be stored and applied to future run data. The individual calibrations for up to 4 user selectable dust types can be stored for use. For area sampling with the Microdust pro the system can be specified with the lockable enclosure as a complete kit. This includes a Casella Vortex sampling pump, rechargeable battery pack, size selective adaptor (to suit individual application), filter support assembly and an external omni-directional air sampling inlet. A fully featured Windows software package comes with every unit that allows download of run results and the viewing of real time traces of particulate concentration on screen. An Intrinsically Safe dust and particulate monitor is available based on the earlier Microdust 880IS model where measurements are required in hazardous areas. | The New Casella MICROTHERM Heat Stress WBGT is a compact site monitoring instrument designed to help identify the problems of heat stress that are common in a variety of workplaces including: foundries, steel mills, glass and ceramic factories, power stations and mines, as well as many types of outdoor work. The instrument is designed to calculate and display the Wet Bulb Globe Temperature Index (WBGT), which was originally developed to provide a simple method of assessment of heat stress among military personnel. Whenever heat stress is imposed upon the human body, the resulting strain may result in physiological reactions such as sweat production, increased heart rate and higher core body temperature (i.e. �heat stress�). Greater levels of heat stress under certain conditions can be dangerous to human health.
The meter measures simultaneously from three PRTD sensors for wet bulb, dry bulb and globe temperatures. Processed data includes: WBGT in & outdoor, 1 Hour twa WBGT values, RH% and dewpoint. Sensors can be attached directly to the body or via 10m extension cables.
The unit displays data via an lcd screen and is the first heat stress meter that also offers real-time scrolling graphical display of data, together with on- board data-logging facility. Audible/ visual alarm is another valuable feature.
32 Bit software is included with the kit for real- time or retrospective data analysis.
Internal calibration is undertaken prior to every reading, eliminating the requirement for annual calibration.

| The Solinst Tag Line uses a weight attached to marked cable, and is designed for use in the installation of monitoring wells. It can be used to measure the depth to the bottom of a well, or the depth to the top of a backfill sand or bentonite layer during completion of a well. The Solinst 103 Tag Line uses 1/16” (1.6 mm.) stranded stainless steel wireline with a minimum break strength of 270 lbs. (122 Kg.). The 304 stainless steel weight is 1.5 lbs. (680 g). It has tapered ends to minimize hang-ups during deployment and return to surface and can be clipped on and off the cable. This allows the use of the reel-mounted, marked cable for other uses, such as bailer deployment.
