Water Leveloggers - Accessories

      Solinst Leveloader I
   Price: Call
The original Leveloader remains available from Solinst but is now called the Solinst Leveloader I. A simple RS232 data transfer device, it is a lower cost option for basic operations. It performs four important functions: displays the last data reading, downloads data from the Levelogger, uploads data to a PC, and can restart a Levelogger using the existing sampling setup. The Levelogger’s Free Memory is shown on screen to help you decide whether to restart the Levelogger for the next monitoring period, or retain the Levelogger data as a useful backup when sufficient free memory is available. If the Levelogger memory becomes full, the Levelogger will stop logging. Restarting a Levelogger erases all previously collected data in the Levelogger itself. The Leveloader I memory can be cleared using the Levelogger Software after each successful upload to a PC. Please call 1-614-846-1900 for more details.

106583 Solinst 3002 Rain Gauge Logger
   Price: Call
The Solinst Rain Logger is designed for use with Solinst Levelogger software and almost any conventional tipping-bucket rain gauge with a reed switch output. This allows rainfall to be monitored conveniently as well as water levels. For high accuracy, the Rain Logger counts rain bucket tips in micrometers (µm), then expresses readings in mm/period. The linear sampling rate can be set anywhere between 10 - 90 minutes. The 2-channel logger also determines the rainfall total for each 5 minutes and calculates the Peak Rainfall Rate for each sample period. When the Rain Logger is connected to a computer using the PC Interface Cable and the Levelogger software is launched, the program recognizes the Rain Logger and displays the instrument type and number. It uses Channel 1 to indicate rain for the period and Channel 2 for the peak rain rate. If the logger has previously been programmed, the location identifier, sample rate and calibration constant entered will also be displayed. If not, these can be entered and the logger started (Start Now). When data is to be downloaded just go to the data control window. The downloaded data can then be exported easily to other programs. Uploading Data: The logged data is kept in non-volatile memory and can be collected using a Leveloader data-transfer unit, or uploaded directly to a computer using a PC Interface Cable. Alternatively, for automatic remote data collection, it may be uploaded via a Solinst Telemetry System (STS), together with Levelogger and Barologger data if desired. STS Telemetry System: The Rain Logger uses a standard 9 V battery to wake the logger briefly every minute. It calculates the time segment totals and peaks, and flashes an LED, which indicates that the logger is working properly. This replaceable battery should last for 1-2 years and the remaining battery level is also viewable in the Levelogger software. A real-time clock inside the Rain Logger is operated from a separate battery with a lifetime of over 15 yrs. SPECIFICATIONS: Case: Polycarbonate, Nema4X water-resistant, 2.5” cube (65 mm) Power: Internal replaceable 9V alkaline battery, typical 1-2 yrs life. 3V Lithium battery for clock operation, typically 15 yr life. Temperature: -20 to +70 C operating temperatures. Rain Gauge Connector: Watertight DIN brass with 1m cable. Serial Port Connector: Stainless steel PC Interface Cable. Lamps: Single LED, flashing once per minute if logging. Isolation: 2000 VDC optical isolation, serial port to Rain Gauge connector. Communications: Serial 9600 baud Solinst Levelogger Protocol for readings and logged data. Memory: Flash memory, 24,000 readings sets (Time, Total Rain and Peak Rain). Please call 1-614-846-1900 for more details.

      Solinst Leveloader II
   Price: Call
The Solinst Leveloader II is a more sophisticated and advanced version of Solinst's first Leveloader. It is a data transfer unit for all versions of the Solinst Leveloggers, Barologgers and Rain Loggers. Leveloader II stores and transfers more data, more rapidly, from all past and present Levelogger models and allows more functionality, including reprogramming of Levelogger sampling regimes, altitude, instrument location and offers the option of password protection. Allows reprogramming of sampling setup, with Start(now) and Future Start options. Allows scrolling through tabular data in the field. 2 Mb data flash memory. Battery status and memory status all shown in real-time. Real-time clock allows synchronization of Leveloggers to each other and to a PC. Downloads twice the amount of data and does it twice as fast as Leveloader I. High-speed data transfer to a PC. Works with all past and present versions of Levelogger and Rain Logger. It provides more critical information, such as battery levels and remaining memory information in real-time for both the Levelogger and the Leveloader II. Data in chart form can be scrolled in real-time before storing. You can also synchronize the Levelogger time to the Leveloader II time, perform a "Start" or "Future Start," and erase last log files. These new features provide the user with the functionality needed in a portable hand-held data transfer device. Please call 1-614-846-1900 for details.
