| The Microdust pro is a hand held real time monitor for assessing the concentration of suspended particulate matter. It is probably the most versatile instrument currently available with a wide measurement range in a single instrument. Both conventional text and scrolling graphical displays are available of the concentration level from 1µgm-3 to 2500 mgm-3. A high range Microdust pro (1-25,000 mg/m3) also available. A full data logging facility of over 15,000 points is built in to the meter as a standard feature giving the benefit of time history recording during a measurement to see how the concentration levels changed. The unit can be calibrated for zero and span and retains excellent linearity throughout the measurement range. It can be run with conventional gravimetric sampling pumps and any correction factors necessary for comparison with the standard measurement method can be stored and applied to future run data. The individual calibrations for up to 4 user selectable dust types can be stored for use. For area sampling with the Microdust pro the system can be specified with the lockable enclosure as a complete kit. This includes a Casella Vortex sampling pump, rechargeable battery pack, size selective adaptor (to suit individual application), filter support assembly and an external omni-directional air sampling inlet. A fully featured Windows software package comes with every unit that allows download of run results and the viewing of real time traces of particulate concentration on screen. An Intrinsically Safe dust and particulate monitor is available based on the earlier Microdust 880IS model where measurements are required in hazardous areas.
